We’re Yolo Camper Vans - a crew of builders, makers, adventurers, and low-key comedians who believe life’s better when it’s spent doing more of what you love. After years of winding roads, wild ideas, and some hard-earned lessons, we came back home to Yolo County to build something real: vans that last, memories that stick,
and a community that rolls its own way.

We’re not here to sugarcoat van life — it’s dusty, messy, and sometimes your coffee spills at 65 mph. But it’s also wild, freeing, and unlike anything else.
And we wouldn’t trade it for the world.

WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT
YCV isn’t a corporation - it’s a family.
We’re here to make camper vans more accessible, more personal, and way more fun. Whether you’re starting with a full blank canvas or you’ve already gutted your van and hit a wall (figuratively or literally), we’re the team that meets you where you are.
We craft high-quality builds that balance form and function, always with a nod to adventure and a deep respect for craftsmanship. We’re not trying to be the biggest. We’re here to be the best for the folks who care about the details and the detours.
Levi spent his childhood skateboarding and playing baseball. Like a young explorer charting new territory, he roamed the 30-acre farm that he grew up on. Passionate about film and storytelling, he spent over a decade in Los Angeles working as a filmer and editor in TV and independent films. Levi specialized in project management, visual effects, and emerging technology.
His growing family drew him back to his roots and the town he grew up in. He spends his time caring for his two young boys and using his years of technical problem-solving skills to make van conversions look good and work right.
MEET THE CREW
LEVI
Kyle grew up riding bikes, skateboarding and playing water polo. He's had a life long passion for animals and graduated from the Moorpark Wildlife Training program in 2014. Before starting Yolo Camper Vans, he worked at the Los Angeles Zoo caring for animals and participating in live audience shows. Kyle also specialized in California condor research and rehabilitation.
Family life and easier access to the great outdoors brought him back to Yolo County. He now spends his time caring for his daughter, surfing any chance he can get, and killing it with his design aesthetic and craftsmanship in van builds.
KYLE
Mike was very much an outdoor kid despite the fact he was raised in the hot Arizona desert. Yeah he played inside,drew, wrote; but he thought it best to run for hours at a time on his high school cross country team. He felt the calling and moved to the coast to become a famous artist/writer/director/actor/production assistant. One the likes this world has never seen. He never did become most of those in L.A., but he did meet an editor and a zookeeper.
Oh and his wife ;)
His focus became very clear when he and his wife had their son. He knew family was most important. So he called up that editor and zookeeper and brought his family along to join the YCV family.
